The Challenge
Assessment of the impact of reducing the speed limit to 30km/hr within Yarra City, including understanding implications on traffic behaviours and safety, and assessing effectiveness of probe data for traffic analysis.
Our Solution
Real Time Traffic deployed standard traffic survey equipment including high-tech radars, Automatic Traffic Counts, and probe data. Realite Cameras were installed at intersections and midblock areas for NearMiss detection.
